From a background in Occupational Psychology and a thesis of on the use of colour in business Chantal moved into floristry and 18 years on has not looked back.  She has created a standout service and client list, both domestically and abroad, supported by a fabulously talented team of floral artists.

Career Highlight: So, so many… if I have to mention just one, creating a promenade of faux bougainvillea in Monaco that after six days of installing looked so natural I would have thought it had grown there!

Why you enjoy what you do: My job is physically active, as well as mentally stimulating.  Being commissioned to create stunning pieces that increase in complexity and scale year on year all whilst travelling to fabulous locations getting to experience behind the scenes of some incredible venues.  What’s not to like!

Vanya is one of the longest serving members of Chantal Flores Design.

Graduating with a degree in history and tourism this lead to her working across arts, real estate and travel.  She started in floristry over 15 years ago working on weddings and corporate events, contract flowers and Asian weddings.  Quite the creative you might say.

Across her varied career her talent and commitment has seen her work for many leading London florists on a variety of high profile projects.  A skilled operator of the lens Vanya is our unofficial in-house photographer, and officially our General Manager.

Career Highlight: The most incredible, nerve wracking and at the same time exciting event was our first ever project in Saudi Arabia. The team we had there and what we’ve achieved is the one to remember

Why you enjoy what you do: My job gives me the opportunity to be flexible, creative and have more freedom in my work schedule. I love the fact that I can work on big projects and travel the world with my job. Last but not least – the amazing team we have at CFD!

Graduating from the University of Forestry in Sofia with a Masters in Ecology and Environmental Protection, you could say the natural world is a passion of hers!

Since arriving in London, Galina has worked her way up from Assistant to Senior Lead Florist within many of London’s leading luxury florists on an array of high calibre projects and clients

Joining us in 2022 bringing a wealth of experience, Galina is our Contracts Manager and smashing it!

Career Highlight: Chelsea Flower Show and Chelsea in Bloom where I managed and delivered beautiful, challenging and rewarding bespoke designs alongside a fantastic team

Why you enjoy what you do: Floral displays and installations bring so much joy to people, in turn bringing me a huge amount of pleasure and satisfaction

Hobbies and interests: Gardening | Travel | Dancing – I organise and run a festival in my native Bulgaria

Peter graduated with a degree in Hospitality and Events Business Management from Leeds Metropolitan and after a stint travelling moved to London to pursue a career in the events industry.

Over the next 16 years he managed some of London’s leading venues, most notably joining One Marylebone in 2009 and over the next 9 years co-developing One Events which became one of central London’s leading venue portfolios overseeing six dry hire venues.

Knowing Chantal well from the industry he joined the company in 2019 and supports on new and existing commercial opportunities

Nadia started her career in floristry 15 years ago and was lucky enough to start with Chantal not long after that.  With a passion for floral design and interiors Nadia has a fantastic eye and is hugely talented creatively, supporting on both domestic and overseas projects whilst also managing our London studio on the side.

Career Highlight: I’ve loved doing all our abroad jobs, especially our recent one with Crazy Pizza which was absolutely beautiful

Why you enjoy what you do: I love the creativity of our work and I really enjoy seeing the end product. It doesn’t matter how hard each individual job is the satisfaction at the end always makes it worth it

Ideal night out: Having friends over to ours for a nice meal and wine

Holiday destination: Morocco | Mexico | Greece | Sun, food and fabrics!

Desert island disc: Bob Marley – Kaya

From a young age, Michelles family always hosted dinner parties with family, friends, neighbours and a big part of this was making sure the table was set correctly with something decorative. This was something she loved helping her Mum with and believed it sparked a creative interest at a young age.

In 2013 Michelle undertook a floristry course and completed this in 2015.  Since then she has worked for many of Londons leading florists aswell as working as a specialist in home interiors and hosting floristry workshops.

Career Highlight: When I got the chance to do some flowers for Leigh-Anne Pinnock from Little Mix for her fiance’s birthday – that was a pinch myself moment!

Why you enjoy what you do: I love working with different clients and building relationships with them, and at Chantal Flores Design especially as there’s a range of things we do from working with established restaurants, offices to high end events so nothing’s ever a fixed routine. The designs are always exciting which keeps your mind creative. The best part is seeing a design come together at the end

Hobbies and interests: Renovating spaces within a home, designing rooms and shopping for home furnishings

If you could solve one thing in the world…Every child with no home goes to a good home

Ideal night out: Karaoke and drinks at my home or a friends

Holiday destination: Bali as it has a good balance of peace and beauty as well as exciting activities

Career Highlight:  Reception for a Lebanese princess in Edinburgh, decorating York Minster for Ellie Gouldings wedding ceremony, taking part in last years Chelsea Flower Show and creating the stunning main gate entrance. The list is long and I’m grateful for every project I’ve been a part of, and am equally excited for every single one that is coming!

Why you enjoy what you do: My work has taken me to many different countries, from Sweden through Italy, France, to the Middle East Emirates, Saudi, Qatar and many more. I have been afforded the opportunity to work on truly magical projects in unique locations on a regular basis that really makes me pinch myself at times and which I find hugely enjoyable!

Hobbies and interests: 

Since high school I’ve enjoyed investing in the stock market.  Exploring London, I’ve been here for 7 years so far and I’m constantly discovering something new about this wonderful City.  Searching for new memes on the internet!  It became my guilty pleasure during lockdown!

If you could solve one thing in the world… No more pop up ads!

Ideal night out: Friends, warm night, good music and a lot of Prosecco!

Holiday destination: Tropical forest with wild animals, sandy beaches for lazy days and mountains / volcanoes for hiking and exploring

Evie has been in the industry for around 10 years now, starting with Chantal when she was 17 doing Saturday and Wednesday’s for her into her university years. She then joined the team on a more regular basis, over time becoming a core part of the Chantal Flores Design team.

She now freelances within the industry and loves coming back to work with Chantal and the team on both UK and International projects, and we love to have her!

Career Highlight: One of our many recent large scale projects in the Middle East, demanding but hugely rewarding

Why you enjoy what you do: I enjoy being creative on a daily basis and contributing to the design of beautiful work

Hobbies and interests: I’m a vocalist and songwriter.  I have a BMus degree under my belt and recently released my first album with my band ColourTelly.  I also dabble in a bit of digital art

If you could solve one thing in the world… Kindness and equality in society

Ideal night out: Being with my loved ones and dearest friends enjoying one another’s company

Holiday destination: Any new natural landscape.  I want to experience the world and meet new societies, always to gain and understand from them

Desert island disc: Too hard to choose but….Prince ‘Symbol’ Album and ‘Diamonds and Pearls’ are always at the top of my list!

Snootie attended the University of Life, achieving a first class BA (Hons) in Sleep Management.  He went on to study for his Masters in Stress Management before changing tack and completing a PHd with a thesis on the Enjoyment of eating as much as you can.  On leaving academia he joined Chantal Flores and for the past 15 years has been an invaluable member of the team, offering his services as silent partner, general sounding board and stress reliever.

Career Highlight: White nuckle ride in the company van.  We were driving at 10mph, taking corners at at least 5mph!  Such speeds in London, can you believe it!

Why you enjoy what you do: The rewards of team worship are second to none

Hobbies and interests: Sitting, bird spotting, avoiding team photographs

If you could solve one thing in the world:  the two meals a day rule….it really should be an eat as much as you can buffet, all day, everyday
